Digital Design Challenge

I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and genuinely appreciate the opportunity to show you a bit of what I can do.  If there is anything else you would like to see, I’d be happy to hear your feedback, and I look forward to talking with y'all again!

Idea

In general my idea was simple: an "old fashioned" grunge poster (a’la 1992, the year your company was established).  I found while perusing your website that y'all do use texture in some of the graphics, though maybe not quite as much as an old grunge poster). My idea grew to be an old grunge concert poster, torn to reveal your now-modern design underneath.

Next, the Logo Design

To “show off” a bit (in case that helps ha!), I modeled and textured the BOTB logo in Blender.

Now you have a fully functional 3D logo! Even though this took some extra time, I thought that the 3D would look very nice set against all of the "old" textures I had.  Contrasting again new and old.  I like it myself and I hope you do, too!  You’ll noticed that the texture is "old dirty metal", but clean metal on its edges. Once it been rendered in a moody music way and I had applied it, I toned it down a bit, never wanting it to be too clean and new.

As a bonus the "maker logo" on the guitar is none other than Ramsey Solutions!

Finally! All The Requested Elements

The flier design, email, wesite, etc…

I noticed a lack of company design specifics provided (for example, no fonts, colors, logo treatment, etc.). When provided with these things, that could absolutely be more prominently “pushed”. Yours, of course, would be truer to existing brand. That being said also, I enjoyed combing through as many parts and pieces as I could on your websites! Thank you for providing that as well.

Regarding time, I would say that honestly the  project did run longer than average for my “workday” speed.  Applying the textures, SO MANY MASKS ha, and matching your backgrounds, establishing elements, and etc. all after spending some important time getting to know your company, I would say it took a solid 13 hours. That time does also include the very time consuming texturing and rendering and modeling of the logo, which I  hope doesn't skew the rating as it is something you wouldn't normally need.

ENJOY!
